U B A REASON
The Universal Basketball Association, started in 2009 with the acquisition of the URBL (United Regions Basketball League) by the Trinity Group. The league started as a Texas-based league, but has since expanded with divisions in the southeast, midwest, west south central (Texas, Oklahoma) and Japan.
The long-term vision of the UBA is to extend worldwide, allowing international teams to compete for the UBA championship at the end of each season. Our mission is to develop basketball around the world while enhancing cross-cultural, educational and business exchange with mutually benefiting partners.

The UBA utilizes regional play to decide the playoff brackets for the end of the regular season. The premier teams compete for the UBA championship at the end of each season. The league's goal is to have sanctioned UBA divisions operating internationally throughout the world. The scheduling format is similar to the NCAA, allowing for open competition between all teams while division winners will congregate at a specified location to be determined each year to battle for a world championship.
